APPLICATION OF CIRCLES IN REAL LIFE
APPLICATION OF CIRCLES IN REAL LIFE
MYTHOLOGY-
The circle the best represents the Hindu universe, because Hindus see the world as being timeless, cyclical and infinite. The universe is the medium through which the divine presents itself. It is window to the divine.
A magic circle is a sacred space marked out by some practitioners of ritual magic. These circles are believed to contain energy that forms a sacred space to provide protection for the practice of magic spells and invocation of gods and spirits. This ancient practice took place in ancient Babylonian and Neo-Assyrian Period, at least three thousand years ago.
The planets orbit the sun on paths that are concentric. We also see concentric circles in the rings of Saturn but we also see a unique symmetry in outer space that is unique (as far as scientists can tell) and that is the symmetry between the earth, moon and sun that makes a solar eclipse possible.
Cycles exist on a planetary majestic level too. Almost too large for our brains to comprehend. On earth we take part in the cycle of seasons throughout the year, governed by the (almost) circular pattern of rotation of the earth around the sun and its axial tilt.
we see the full moon as a circle presented to us every month. Yet that’s not to dismiss the rest of the month, the different phases of the moon are the interplay of one circle onto another. ‘But that is a sphere’ I hear you cry. Yes, it is. But from our perspective it is two dimensional. When we examine the interplay of other spheres with the moon we start to understand its three dimensionality.
